♦ Backstory: I have been a restaurant – and to a lesser extent entertainment - writer in Las Vegas since the early 90s and consequently have had the pleasure and privilege of interviewing and dining with many finest major players in both arenas. With this site, I can tap into those resources to keep you up to date on what’s happening right now or coming soon.
I’m originally from Chicago. There, I spent too many years in the corporate world, desk-bound as a copywriter at an ad agency, then ad director at a manufacturer of beauty products, then similar roles at two retail chains. As prep for my current lifestyle, while still in the Windy City I wrote restaurant news for a since-demised city publication.
